Rev. Canon Stuart Pike
The Rev. Canon Stuart Pike, B.A., M.Div. (Hon), Rector
After studying Theology at Huron College in London, Ontario, I was ordained in the Diocese of Quebec in 1988 and spent my first 10 years of ministry in the Greater Parish of Gaspé, a parish with 10 churches across 200 km of coastline. My wife, Katherine married me at half-time and our daughter, Louisa was born in Gaspé. We moved to St. Andrew's Church in Grimsby in 1998 and moved to St. Luke's in 2008. Work with Partners in Mission has taken me to Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and the Indian ocean. I have completed my two-year Spiritual Director's course and am very interested in helping people explore the depths of their own soul, and to find the divine at their centre. St. Luke's feels like my spiritual home to me and I feel honored to be a spiritual leader to such a vibrant amd welcoming congregation.

Rev. Cheryl Fricker
The Reverend Cheryl Lynn Fricker, Vicar
I began my theological studies part time at McMaster Divinity College in 1998 and received my Masters of Divinity at Trinity College at the University of Toronto. I was ordained to the Diaconate in 2002 and served many parishes throughout the Diocese of Niagara. I am trained in spiritual direction in the Ignatian tradition, having made the 40 day spiritual exercises in 2002 and completing the Retreat Directors Workshop in 2005. I have done Labyrinth facilitation training with Lauren Artress at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco and I have been actively involved in leading Taize Prayer since 1999. I have a passion for social justice ministry and recently been invited to serve on the Bishops Committee for Social Justice Making. I have served as the Diocesan Representative for the Corporation of Trinity College and have been involved nationally with the Ecojustice arm of the church. I am very happy to be serving at St. Luke's and I look forward to what God has in store for us as we journey together in faith, hope and love.

Rev. Deacon Sheila Plant
The Rev. Deacon Sheila Plant, B.A., B.Ed, Honorary Deacon Assistant
After arriving in Canada with my family in the late 1950's, I became a parishioner at St. Luke's, returned as an adult parishioner in 1985 and have been attending St. Luke's since then. I became more involved in church life and became a reader, intercessor and chalice bearer. In 2004 I set up the prayer shawl ministry which is still going strong. In 2007, I began my Master of Theology degree and McMaster Divinity College and at that time began a discernment process towards the diaconate. I was ordained in May 2008 as a vocational deacon. My main areas of responsibility are pastoral care, on call chaplaincy at the hospital, nursing home ministry, Food for Life and diaconal duties on Sunday morning. St. Luke's is a vibrant, welcoming parish and I am honoured to serve as its deacon.
