MUSIC AT ST. LUKE'S
The aim of Music at St. Luke’s is to present an annual subscription series of high quality musical events for the entertainment of parishioners and the general public. In addition to the subscription series Music at St. Luke’s promotes non-musical parish events and concerts by visiting choirs. All profits from Music at St. Luke’s productions go to the St. Luke’s operating funds.
The Music at St. Luke’s Team is pleased to announce the 2012/2013 series. The series kicks off with an "Oktoberfest" celebration featuring "The Cottonwood Brass". Then in November by popular request there will be a toe tapping Bluegrass evening, when "Rhyme & Reason" visit with country & gospel music to warm your soul. January brings a change of pace when the " Paradigm Trio" come to play music by Dvorak, Piazzola & modern Canadian composers. The series finale in March will be a "Dixieland Night" with roaring twenties and dirty thirties music played by "Vic Lawrence Dixieland Six.
All four events include dinner with a cash bar serving wine, beer & soft drinks.
The individual cost of these evenings is $35.00 however a series subscription is available for $100.00 a savings of $40.00.
